- بیماری خفیف ویروسی كه در كودكان با تب، بثورات پوستی شبیه سرخك ولی زودگذر، تورم غددلنفاوی گردن و بدن همراه است.سرخجه، خود بیماری خطرناكی نیست، ولی اگر زنان آبستن در چهار ماهه اول آبستنی به آن دچار شوند، باعث بروز ناهنجاریهای مادرزادی در جنین آنها میگردد.
