- این اصطلاح بیشتر برای ختنه غیرقانونی زنان بهكار رفته است كه نوعی قطع عضو بهشمار میرود.ختنه دختران و زنان هنوز در بعضی از كشورهای آفریقایی مثل گینه، ساحل عاج، بوركینافاسو، نیجریه و غنا انجام میشود.
