  • A property value basis that is the unit of measure of a physical property as standardized in the International System of Units.

  • This is the only system of units to be represented in OPB and is implemented according to the globaly-adopted system as described in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_System_of_Units. SI-unit classes. Accordingly, and by fiat, some are base units that are irreducible and some are derived units that are derived from base units by multiplication or division. In other foromal systems or conventional usages, other allocations between base/derived units may be encountered. SI-unit classes map, non-exclusively to classes of OPB:PropertyDimension either as single classes, or as multiples/quotients of base units
