  skos:scopeNote "به مخلوطی از هیدروكربن‌ها كه در هنگام تقطیر جز‌ء به ‌جزء نفت خام از بخش خاصی از برج تقطیر خارج می‌شوند برش گفته می‌شود. همه برش‌های هیدروکربن به دست آمده از نفت در یک زمان معین، عرضه و تقاضای یکسانی ندارند، ممکن است بازار یک برش نفتی، کم ‌اهمیت تر از برش نفتی دیگر باشد. مثلا پس از اختراع لامپ، مصرف نفت چراغ به شدت کاهش یافت."@fa .
